OUR STAFF
In addition to its attorneys, the Law Offices of Jeremy Pasternak maintains a staff dedicated to assisting our clients and our attorneys in the litigation of employment and other disputes.
In addition to administrative staff, the Law Offices of Jeremy Pasternak has an active law clerk program. Each semester and during the summer breaks, we employ second- and third-year law students. Most of our clerks are regular hourly employees; some choose to work for school credit. All of our law clerks have the opportunity to work directly on cases and perform “real” legal work as involved and challenging – if not more so – as that performed by associate attorneys at other firms.
We believe that our commitment to this program and these students both helps them when they enter the workforce as attorneys and helps our clients in the prosecution of their cases. The law, particularly employment law in the State of California, is far from static. It is a dynamic and ever-changing area in which the Courts are constantly making new law and in which familiarity with current legal scholarship – i.e. what is being talked about in the law schools – is critical to adequate representation. In short, this program does not just exist for the benefit of our clerks and our firm; it also exists for the benefit of our clients.
